The Bluence team recently visited the 220 MW battery storage plant in the Atacama Desert, operated by Atlas Renewable Energy, to support the on-site commissioning of our SCADA system.
This fully BESS facility is an extension of the nearby Sol del Desierto solar PV plant, which also operates with Bluence SCADA and Isotrol’s PPC.
The new system coordinates seamlessly with the existing solar infrastructure—highlighting the flexibility and reliability of our control solutions in hybrid environments.
Field testing and validation carried out during the visit are also helping to drive the ongoing enhancement of our SCADA capabilities for storage applications.
